Journaling - Ever wondered why history’s great minds including Isaac Newton, Abraham Lincoln, Andy Warhol, Leonardo Da Vinci, Marcus Aurelius, Charles Darwin, Winston Churchill, Benjamin Franklin, Ernest Hemingway, George Bernard Shaw and Maya Angelou would spend so much of their precious time writing things that will never be seen by another soul? Many famous creatives, writers, innovators and original thinkers of our generation keep journals— for many, it is a creative necessity, for others, a place for exploration, and for some an art form in and of itself.

Journaling helps you prioritize, clarify thinking, and accomplish your most important tasks, over urgent busy work.

Join Justine Marple for her Journaling 101 – the perfect place to begin this life changing practice.

Lunch

Vision Book - Also known as dream board, this creative expression is one of the most valuable visualization tools available. The inspirational collages serve as your image of the future – a tangible example, idea or representation of where you are going. They should represent your dreams, your goals, and your ideal life.

Your brain will work tirelessly to achieve the statements you give your subconscious mind. And when those statements are the affirmations and images of your goals, you are destined to achieve them! – Jack Canfield

By representing your goals with pictures and images you actually strengthen and stimulate your emotions because your mind responds strongly to visual stimulation…  and your emotions are the vibrational energy that activates the Law of Attraction. The saying “A picture is worth a thousand words,” certainly holds true here.

By putting a vision board somewhere you can see it every day, you will prompt yourself to visualize your ideal life on a regular basis.

Consider including a picture of yourself on your board. If you do, choose one that was taken in a happy moment. Supplies are furnished, but you may want to bring some specific images or inspirations to include.

Fortunately, there’s a great deal you can do to curb these impulses, take charge of your life and advance positive values and interests instead.

“Impossible” you think? Not at all. This complex problem can’t be effective by the “Just Do It” mantra. Procrastination is a learned habit and can be replaced with a different habit resulting a better way to enjoy life. It’s a complex problem fueled by self-blame, overwhelming fear, and a lot of other emotions that keep you in a repetitious cycle.

During these two workshops, we will look at some of the most basic procrastination patterns. Using five effective habits, we focus on taking control of your “Time.”

The other side of procrastination brings clarity, work without hesitation, and not giving up. Shift from putting things off to getting things done.

Join other procrastinators in a fun, safe group environment – changing your life one habit at a time.

Super Blood Wolf Moon Eclipse Ceremony. Join in at the cabin to watch this rare lunar phenomenon. It's been more than three years since everyone in the U.S. has experienced a total lunar eclipse. Sky gazers look forward to the eclipse lasting almost 3½ hours from the beginning of 10:10 pm until it ends at 2:15 am. Totality lasts 63 minutes, from 10:41 to 11:44 PM EST. The eclipsed Moon will appear high in a mid-winter sky, so if it's clear that night, you'll have no (good) excuse for skipping this wonderful celestial event.
